There is a lot of chocolate in Candy Crush level 653. They cover the sides and bottom of the board. There is also a chocolate fountain in the middle of the board. Make sure to contain the chocolate fountain. Don't let more than one chocolate spawn. This is the only place on the board where you have room to make special candy combos.

Activiate the striped candies on the sides and the bottom.
Activate the striped candies that are in the sides and bottom of the board with striped candies or color bombs from the middle of the board. Activating these striped candies will clear all the chocolate in that section of the board. There is no point in activating striped candies from the middle of the board to hit a single piece of chocolate in either the sides or bottom. The chocolate will just grow back.

The only way to beat this difficult level is to make a lot of special candy combinations. The best special candy combos to make in this level are a color bomb + striped candy, color bomb + color bomb, or striped candy + wrapped candy.
