Clear out the licorice immediately
licorice swirls will pour out from numerous dispensers in Candy Crush Saga level 588. Needless to say, this is really not good as the will block three separate rows of jellies. To make matters worse, the licorice swirls are traveling on conveyor belts. However, you will need to do your best to clear them out whenever you can so you can reach the jellies. Remember, licorice swirls swallow up the effect of a striped candy. Therefore if you wish to use a vertically striped candy, you will need crush any swirls it may hit first.

Control the chocolate
Candy Crush Saga level 588 also features 4 chocolate fountains that will spawn chocolate pieces throughout the level. If you let them grow out of control, they will take over the board and jellies.
