Burst the meringues and the licorice rope until candies fall into the jelly on the bottom of the board
You don't have a lot of room to work with in the beginning. Start out by making simple matches to gain ground on the meringues and burst some of the licorice rope. When you burst enough licorice, candies from the top will fall to the bottom and fill up the jelly squares.

Eliminate the rest of the licorice rope
Continue to make matches from either the top or the bottom until the licorice is all gone. The candies will then fill up the rest of the bottom of the board and you can work on eliminating the jelly.

Eliminate the rest of the jelly, but keep the chocolate from expanding
Once you have filled the bottom of the board with candy, continue to make matches to eliminate the rest of the jelly. Try to make special candies where you can. Make sure to keep an eye on the chocolate -- you don't want it to expand too much and consume the board.
