Don't worry too much about the chocolate
The chocolate looks like more of an obstacle than it really is. Underneath all of the meringues is jelly; until you clear the meringues, they will block the chocolate from expanding too much. It's fine if the chocolate creeps up the sides, but keep it in check if it expands into the main board.

If you make a match of three, make sure it will break a meringue
Though you have 50 moves, they will go quickly if you don't make sure that all of your matches have a purpose. Try to eliminate meringues or chocolate or form special candies during every move.

Match special candies together to eliminate large amounts of chocolate and jelly
As with most levels, your best bet is to make as many special candies as you can. Match special candies together to make them more effective. Matching a color bomb with a striped candy, or matching two striped candies can eliminate whole rows of jelly.
