Break into the Outside Right Away
The level begins with only 12 candies surrounded by a ton of meringue. It is very important that you break out of that meringue because the ingredients that need to be brought down are located on the outside and have no way of moving down. There is no progression in the level until you break from the inside out to free up the board.

Wrapped are the most effective
Because of the nature of the level, you need to be able to break big chunks of meringues at a time. The best weapon to do this is to use wrapped candies because they are essentially little bombs. A best case scenario would be to combine wrapped candies and make a bigger explosion, thus freeing up more space.

Take advantage of lack of different colored candies
An advantage you have going for you is that there are only 4 different colored candies in this level. Take advantage of this by making as many special candies as possible. Combining special candies will not only clear out the meringue, but bring down the ingredients some rows simultaneously.
