These Candy Crush level 86 cheats and tips to show you how to beat level 86 of Candy Crush. The goal of level 86 is to clear all of the jelly in 35 moves, while achieving 40,000 points.
Candy Crush Level 86 Cheat #1: Keep resetting for a good pyramid board.
In this jelly-level, the game tries to trick you by setting up blockers you think you need to clear! You don't.- Just try busting through a few licorice X's before moving into the pyramid. The jellies are only inside the pyramid.
Candy Crush Level 86 Cheat #2: Use wrapped candies.
- The best way to beat level 86 is to do as much damage with as few moves as possible
- Wrapped candies are your best bet! Even if you make one at the top of the board, by the time it does its second burst, it's guaranteed to clear some of your pyramid!
Level 86 Cheat #3: Don't clear all the licorice blocks.

Candy Crush Level 86 is a Jelly level, one of five level types in Candy Crush Saga. Your objective is to clear all of the jelly in 35 moves. In order to complete a Jelly level, you must remove all of the jelly on the board. You remove jelly from the board by making a match with a piece of candy on top of the jelly. In the higher levels, you can sometimes get stuck on double jelly levels. On those you have to make two matches on top of a square of jelly in order to clear it from the board! We've got all the tips to beat jelly levels you need here at candy crush cheats!
How To Beat Jelly Levels:
- Your only objective in jelly levels is to clear the jelly. That means you should only be worried about making matches on top of the jelly, and not other parts of the board.
- If you can't make a match on top of the jelly, try using jelly fish! Jelly fish act like normal candies in that you match them with other candies of the same color. But when you make a match with a jelly fish, its will activate and swim off the screen. Then three new jelly fish will swim on screen and eat three jelly squares. For double jelly squares, this will count as one match. If jelly is stuck under a blocker that isn't licorice, the jelly fish will still eat the jelly from under the blocker.
- Jelly squares at the top of the board and at the corners can be tricky, since these are the hardest spot to match candies. Watch out for these, and try to clear the board first.
- When you clear all the jelly from the level, you will get a sugar crush. This will give you a ton of points.
Bonus Tip: Corner Jelly Strategy
AICorners are hardest to reach. Focus on creating striped candies near corners early, before you run low on moves.

The reset occurs after moves are started...the purpose of a reset is to START with a good layout so reset as many times as needed before taking the first move.

I am using a phone you can roll the board as many times as you like which is what I always do and have never lost a life , only if you are on the timed game ,oh and by the way I am stuck ... And been stuck for a while on 86 I am very seldom getting the 4 or 5 build up ,,,,,, when I do get a 5 stack it's when I am down to one moves,,,is this frustrating or what????? !!!!!

If you are on a pc you will lose a life but if you are on a android phone or tablet you will not. I do it all the time! I believe the same goes for iphone and ipads but have never tried.

You only lose a life on iphone if you have made 1 or more mves If you havent made a move, you can reset as may times as you want

Cant do it on a PC/laptop/etc/ ONLY on Handheld devices and I BELIEVE only on a cell phone, that is. Not positive. But I KNOW you cant do it on the PC's. :( Just use your phone on the boards proving to be very difficult and LIFE-THIEVING! :) Heres how (for future reference)

Id asked the same question several times on different pages to no avail - yet, myself! Finally I found a page (here) though that does tell you EXACTLY-step-by-step how to do it! Thank God! What an AMAZINGLY handy trick! This will ONLY work though on a HANDHELD DEVICE, (it says), so do NOT attempt on a PC or laptop, as you WILL LOSE *PRECIOUS* lives!
1st step) What you do is look at your board thoroughly BEFORE moving/touching ANYthing! If your setup isnt good (meaning: you dont have any good moves to break thru meringue/jelly/chocolate, etc within the first 1-2 moves, then you should RESET your board.)
2nd step.) All you do is click the gold button (bottom LEFT corner) [at least mine is] its the menu options button, nonetheless. Click that, 3rd step.) Then click on the FOURTH choice on the RIGHT. The RED option that takes you BACK to the map. THATS what you want. Go BACK TO MAP 4th step.) Then re-push the same level you just left. Voila! Youve reset your board AND lost NO LIVES!!! Whooo hooo! :)
You can do this again, and again, and again until you get the right setup that YOU may need for WHATEVER particular board you are on! :D Niiice, right? Hope this is easy to follow fort everyone. what the heck! I had over 80,000 points and all the jelly clear, game should have been over. looked again and licorice appeared and jelly appeared out of nowhere???

What the heck! Level 86, had over 80,000 points, all jelly removed and still had lots of moves left, nothing happened. Game should have been completed successfully and move on to the next round. Before my eyes, more licorice X's appeared and more jelly! Grrrrrrr

It depends on your phone. Apple you can not reset. I have samsung and I can reset as many times as I want, as long as you don't start the game ..back out, hit play again etc..

When you start the game you have to click on the bottom left little wheel type thing and click the back arrow to start over. You won't lose a life this way :-)

I have been on level 86 since way before Christmas and I had over 400340 points and it said I still needed one jelly now tell me how can you get that high of score and still not clear all of the jellies. I am just about ready to quit the game it is tearing my nerves up driving me bananas and I am not one that is that easily persuaded to quit but I cannot make it thru this level and am tired of playing it over and over.

I had to come back to Lv86 for a quest. I find it to be a fun challenging level. Although I did take me a little longer this time through. It's a good level to hone your strategy skills :-)

Done after two or three days continuous effort. Phew. Spent all my boosters. Finally with that 'fish' it got done :D
Trick is to penetrate in the blocks by clearing either side and try to make striped candies or smasher and do that combo.

Having just completed Level 110. I am pretty much convinced that Level 86 was the toughest level I've completed. I did it with a huge amount of luck on my very last move. The best advice I can offer is that when you get your first look at the board...... look to see if you have any matches to clear the licorice barriers which prevent access into the pyramid. If you don't have at least 1 match on each side of pyramid.... reset the board. You'll never get thru the level if you don't have at least 2 (preferably 3) matches to gain immediate access into the pyramid. I got very lucky and had 4 immediate matches..... I had to reset the board about 15 times. On an iPhone.. you won't lose any lives by resetting... as long as you don't make ANY moves on the board your given. Good Luck!

Hi yes we all have the same problems on different levels but I think it's only a puzzle, it's meant to challenge us ,sometimes after planing and plotting with no results I just go mad on the board making matches and hey presto it just falls into place ,but I know were your coming from it makes you pull your hair out sometime s happy candy crush!!

I just passed level 86 on my Kindle Fire. You don't have to reset anything or pay anything. Just concentrate on the jellies at the bottom and clear them as soon as you can.

If you clash a colored bomb with a wrapped candy, it converts all the candies on the board of the same color into wrapped candies and activates them. This way you clear heaps of candies at once.

There is no way to win this level 86. It is cruel that they designed this level to be impossible to solve. I've spent weeks on this level playing many hours each day. I'm good at this game. I make good moves. It is impossible to win! I'm giving up for good! A waste of my time.

I have been stuck on level 86 for 3 months. I play many hours each day. I'm telling you..... IT CANNOT BE BEAT!! No explaining of moves will help, because it is impossible to beat it. It has made me hate this game. A total waste of time. The creators are gruel to torture us like this! To make a level that is unbeatable! I am using an Android tablet.
