Start on the bottom to clear the meringue
The board in level 617 is covered in jelly. But you have to split your attention between two baords, which are split diagonally. Unfortunately, nothing you do on the bottom board will affect the top one, as new candies only drop into the bottom from the far left corner. Still, the bottom board is much tougher to clear because of this, so start there.

Look for special candy combos
The best way to clear out the jelly is to look for candy combos. This is pretty difficult, since there are six colors of candies on the board, but it's not impossible. The best overall combo to try for early on is a striped-wrapped move. This combo is easier to pull off than most others and unleashes the most damage to the icing.

Make a color bomb to finish the jelly
Color bombs are a rare commondity in this level. However, there can be chances to create them in the upper part of the board if you look carefully. In this example, our player has managed to get two pairs of blue candies next to one another. If they can drop a blue candy into the space between them, a candy bomb will be created and help make even more powerful candy combos. Can you spot the move that our player should make?
