Vertically stripped candies are very important in this level as they are the only way to take out the jellies aside from the jelly fish. Vertically stripped candies will need to hit at least 9 jellies since there is not enough jelly fish to take out all of them.

You need free the jelly fish from the marmalade and activate them. One jelly fish can take out 3 jellies, however these jellies are multi layered. So, make sure you try and free every one so they can take out as much as possible.
