Remove licorice swirls with vertical matches first
The licorice columns at the start of the level prevent you from being able to use special candies from the get go. So you have to first need to make some simple vertical matches to remove as many licorice swirls as possible. Once you remove a good portion of licorice swirls from a column, it will be easier to use special candies to move the ingredients down.

Use special candies when an ingredient is in a licorice-free column
Once you have taken out the licorice in a column or were able to move to move your ingredient to a licorice-free column, you can use a vertical stripe or wrapped stripe to move that ingredient to the bottom! Note that wrapped candies can still be useful even when you still have licorice's around your ingredient.

New ingredients appear after 10 moves
New ingredients will appear after 10 moves so you should try to make a move in a licorice-free column around then. That way your new ingredient will be introduced in a column without licorice blockers and you can drop it to the bottom easily.
