Use the lack of blockers to your advantage
Since Candy Crush level 140 is an early order level, there aren't any blockers on your board--opening up an enormous amount of moves and opportunities! Use the open board to form lots of moves without worrying about chocolates or busting jellies! There are not tricks here--no bombs will drop down, it's just you and the orders to fulfill.

Combos, combos, combos
45 moves isn't a lot to get 297 candies but it's very attainable if you focus on making special candy combinations. Thanks to the lack of blockers, you will never find another board where it is as easy to form wrapped candies, striped candies and color bombs. In this game, color bombs+striped candy combinations are going to be your biggest asset.

Work low!
Despite the temptation to move anywhere on the board during Candy Crush level 140 (there are no obstacles!), try keeping your moves lower on the board. This will bring down more candies (a necessity for when you need more oranges/reds/yellows after you've cleared a majority of the board) and it will help form candy combos by catalyst from rows dropping in! This effect is called cascading and will help you get the minimum score for this level!

most of these are all old posts and I imagine everyone has moved on but for anyone who is new to this level and looking for a tip it is as others have said, \"stay low on the board and make matches regardless of color\" and only go high to make special candies. Go slow and you start seeing the matches to make the candy bombs. I got it on the first try after reading that suggestion.

I have noticed that quite often the relevant color candies which were eliminated do not get deducted, especially the yellow ones. Does anybody else get this problem?

I AM OFFICIALLY quiting candy crush becoz of this level, perhaps when i die and come back in another lifetime someone kind would have played it for me. the moves are totally less and it sucks to realize that iam not even close to finishing the orders. sucks

For over a week now, I have been randomly completing level 140 { getting the required 30,000 points & collecting all color orders } even with 40 moves which gave me extra 5 moves left ! Nonetheless, after the game saying \"Level Completed \" it will only ask me to press NEXT button but will only take me back to Level 140 , am stuck. I will start all over again to get the same result again. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks, S.

Here i go again!! Stuck on 140. Rare to get a sprinkle . More rare to line up a wrap & a strip. Boring after a while. Tempted to throw in the towel.

Soooooo angry at this level. Have been stuck for months and months. Did not play for 3 months and have now restarted. A month later and STILL can't pass. I give it a week then I delete for good. Anyone with useful tips that actually work?
