Level 140 is a Candy Order level, one of five level types in Candy Crush Saga. Your objective is to get 30,000 points in 45 moves while fulfilling the order of 99 red, 99 orange and 99 yellow. In order to complete a Candy Order level, you will need to crush a certain number of specific candy colors or types. Some early Candy Crush order levels just ask you to collect colored candies. Others will require you to get types of special candies later in the game. You'll have to approach Candy Crush order levels very differently from other stages of the game! Use these all-purpose tips for Candy Crush order levels to dominate them and score truckloads of points.
Candy Crush Order Levels Tips
- If you need to collect special candies, focus on forming them right away. Don't bother making any special candies that don't fill your orders. If you need to make wrapped bombs, don't waste turns by making striped candies.
- Making special candy combinations can be incredibly hard. Try to make special candies next to one another so you don't have to move them together. Plan your moves ahead so you don't accidentally set one off before making the combo.
- Be careful when using special candies to fill colored candy orders. It sounds like a good idea to use a color bomb to get lots of candies you need. But this will make it harder to collect more of those candies if your order is still not filled.
- Use color bombs on candies you don't need to get rid of them. Then you will have more opportunities to make big combos with candies you do need, since they'll take up more room on the board.
Bonus Tip: Order Collection
AIDon't just match randomly - look for where your target candies cluster. Color bombs are incredibly valuable for finishing orders quickly.

After I passed 140 it said have a friend give me the next level (train) so when I accepted nothing happened. I can't go on to the next level only back to 140 the one I just passed. Please tell me why I can't go on or why when I was given the train it won't work?

You need 3 friends to help you. You will then move on to the next level. Have 1 friend fill 1 of the 3 trains!!

You're on the right track JoAnne. When things get tough just spit the dummy and throw your toys out of the pram. It achieves heaps. Now, settle down and persevere.

This sounds really counterintuitive but try:
1. Making any candybombs you can, but instead of using up moves getting a stripey next to it, use it immediately to get rid of one of the colours you DON'T need.
2. Make any striped or wrapped candies you can, regardless of colour, and set them off as soon as you can.
3. Make any 3-in-a-rows of a colour you do need, but as close to the bottom of the screen as possible.
4. Sometimes it's better to make a 3-in-a-row of a colour you don't need near the bottom of the screen than one you do need near the top: it'll open up the board more quickly.
I was stuck on lvl140 for days, then 2 goes with that strategy & I finished it on the last move. Good luck!

You sound like we can just go "poof" and "make" these combinations, but you can't. I've done all the things you mention and find it still doesn't move the score down nearly fast enough. I think it's rigged to give a few folks here and there some help so they can let everyone else know "hey I did it" but I don't think it's legit.

It does NOT matter if there were no bombs or chocolates or whatever. It's impossible unless you have enough money to purchase candy bombs or striped candies. I've tried over 100 times. I followed every tip but it is not working. It is not my fault that damn puzzle fucks up my every candy bomb combo or candy striped combo or make it impossible to make 297 candies in only 45 moves. I may sound real bitter but I am pissed off. I've played hard on this level and not getting anywhere. The game gives messed up puzzles all the damn time. I appreciate all the tips and they were very helpful. Without your helpful tips I wouldn't have passed 139 levels. But this level is hard as hell. Sorry. Cannot pass it and feel like quiting.

I did like the article suggested and stayed low on the board and only going higher for candy bombs and striped candies when I was out of options on the lower half of the board. After three weeks of not getting passed this level, I read the article and got it after three tries.

I'm kind of bitter too as this level is totally impossible. The person who played the game to show how it could be done exceeded the time limit I'm SURE. It's the worst level they ever had. Shame on them. I find the Bombs don't do a damned think unlike other levels. Don't quit just keep commenting. We're with ya.

I thought some of the other levels were hard but this one really sucks! I've spent days on this level and have become discouraged! About to throw in the towel! :-(

Took over a week. Finally got it with three candybomb/striped candy combos. Get them as early as possible. Got it down to the last play with 2 candies to go and no matches for the remaining colored candy, so I used lollipop hammers (which don't use a move) to clear two individually. The only thing they could do to make this worse is put a timer on it. I almost quit the game out of frustration. I think they want you to buy lives, but so far I haven't had to.

The trick is to get a bomb-striped combo of a color that's NOT yellow, red or orange. Usually the board has a much larger percentage of those colors and the combo would practically wipe off the entire board! A couple of such combos and you're done!

Why is it that even when I get 3 in a row of one colour, the score doesn't change and even when I have used a chocolate with a candy stripe, the score doesn't change. This level is impossible

We all know that King is in the business of making money. We all know the game is rigged to make you spend money (Lvl 65, Lvl 140, Dreamworld 101). We all have seen the owl “happen” to fall off for no reason on candy breaks, the needle slow down to a snail’s pace on the jackpot just to find that extra “momentum” to go to the next section on the wheel. I believe in a fair game not rigged for people to spend their hard earned money on it. Let me help everyone stick it to King and maybe a fair, reasonable game will happen. This is what you do......
You just go into your phone setting... Scroll down and look for (Time and Date) Change your date 1 day head... Then go open Candy Crush, you will have 5 new lives. BUT do not play the game yet. Close Candy Crush, and go back to your setting and reset the date back to the original today's date....Very Important!!!
Then go back to Candy Crush and play the game. You can do this as many times per day as you like. Always open CC and make sure there's 5 news lives... BUT ALWAYS remember to go back and reset the date BEFORE you play the game. IF you don't the "minute ticker" on CC will turn in days, and weeks, and months, maybe longer. (YOU don't want this to happen)
ALWAYS reset your Time and date before you play CC......
This can also be done on an iPad, Smart phones, and IPhones, and other small hand held computer devices. BUT not a P.C.

you have to get the 5 candy's in a row as soon as possible and match it with a stripped candy do this at least three times ,close to the start of the game as possible to get the most candy's gone. i made it after six tries.good luck. .

Ok, here's the secret. Stop playing for awhile. We're not idiots, we can find something more constructive to do. Then, when you are sure you're ready for the aggravation again, go back. You may find it's not as interesting as you used to think it was. And don't buy anything! It's like shopping with no benefits, ya don't even get a good meal out od it. Take that money and go to lunch with your friends . Good luck!!

If you get a good board and make as many color bomb/striped combos as possible, you CAN beat this board, I did after three tries. I did buy 5 extra moves, but only needed one to beat it. Good Luck everyone.

why are all the dates on these comments 4 or 5 months old??? did everybody all of a sudden stop playing in the last four months?????......anyway that's enough of candy crush, this level is just beyond what any game has a right to ask......besides that the last twenty levels or so are just basically you just keep playing till the game decides to allow you to win, like for real, how unimaginative, also it shows a lack of real intelligence and creativity on the programmer'(s) part....could i do better?, nope.....then again i don't claim to be a game programmer.....

I just completed this level and realized the quickest way for me was to build as many cascades as possible. I tried for the candies I was collecting but really any will do. The main thing is to get the cascades and they'll do most of the work for you. If you can couple a striped with a color bomb, even better! I completed this level in about 10 tries. Good luck!

I tried to build w / the colors I was collecting but found that as long as I achieved cascades of any color, they seemed to do most of the work for me. I was able to finish this in about 10 tries. Actually it is not impossible, i focused all attention in getting color bomb/striped candy combos and i managed to get like 3 of these and then a few other combos and in the end i had five moves left :) so try to get one free color bomb by spinning the daily wheel so then you just need one or 2 more of those in the combination with striped candy

Just finished level 140. It took me just over 3 weeks to do it. Try this. Set up a sprinkled candy and a striped color candy (orange, yellow,red) and blast it oft the board. Does this with the remaining colors and then finish off the rest of the orders with 3-4 candy combinations. Gook luck.

I DID IT!
OMG I finally beat Level 140 with no cheats. How? Got 2 cookie/stripe combos but second one had a board full of yellows and the stripe was a yellow. Massive takedown. Still, even with 2 cookie/stripes and a stripe/wrapped I still made it with just 2 moves to spare. Brutal brutal level.
P.S., This game is easier on the PC in Facebook than the Android version. You get better combos.
