This level is pretty intimidating. Not only are there chocolate fans and jelly squares, but there are licorice cages blocking your progress. These licorice cages need to be taken care of as soon as possible, although that's no easy feat. Try to make some vertical matches in the column between the two licorice columns. The faster you clear the licorice cages, the quicker you can get to the jelly squares and stop the chocolate from accumulating.
Moon Struck is a must.
If you're having trouble clearing the licorice cages, don't worry. It's not an easy thing to do. Try to clear it up until Odus's meter is filled up. Use Moon Struck and you will destroy a lot of the licorice cages, as well as some of the accumulating chocolate squares.
