Soda Level 253 Cheat #1: Use Combos to Clear the Licorice

Candy Crush Soda Saga Level 253’s board is characterised by lots of chocolate and liquorice swirls. Unfortunately, most of the chocolate, which is your target in this level, is under liquorice. To make way to reach the chocolate, therefore, you need to get rid of most of the liquorice.

Liquorice is a stubborn blocker which mostly needs combos to be cleared. Even special candies activated on their own may not be of help with the liquorice. As you shift candy to make special ones, do so at the surface of the topmost layer of chocolates so that they may be eaten up in the process. Also, since neither the liquorice nor the chocolate appears in one uniform block, make sure that a special candy or a combo is most useful before activating it.

Horizontal stripes would be very useful on these rows. Making one on the first row is easy as the row is not full. There is room to make one. On the bottom most layer, take your time to clear some liquorice then clear a few chocolates. This will give you room to do a few switches so that you can position a striped candy on the row.
