Jelly Level 38 Cheat #1: Clear Both licorice Locks First

Candy Crush Jelly Saga Level 38 has two licorice locks on the board. They may seem very harmless when you look at them on a fresh board but the first thing you should do on this level is clear them. Candy Crush Jelly Saga Level 38 requires you to fill the whole board with jelly. Therefore, unlike puffler levels where once you find the pufflers you have nothing to do with the rest of the board, with this level, you have everything to do with every part of the board. The best way is to clear them at the beginning. This way they won’t be a barrier as you work on filling other squares with jelly. Also, you shall avoid them standing in your way later in the game, probably when you have very few moves left.

Once you make a colour bomb, look closely at the squares that you haven’t filled with jelly yet. Tally how many candies of each colour are in these squares. The colour with the highest number of candies in squares yet to be filled with jelly is the colour you should aim at hitting with that colour bomb. If you do not have that colour near the colour bomb, it is worth waiting. Keep track of the numbers, though, as they will keep changing as candies shift on the board.
