Level 231 Cheat #1: Concentrate on the top.

• Keep in mind what your real objective is in this level: removing jelly. Nothing else matters. Luckily there aren't any blockers around to get in the way--at first.
• Every jelly square is double layered. The most annoying squares are located at the bottom and can't be accessed without removing mystery candies. Save these for later in the level.

Level 231 Cheat #2: Be careful with the mystery candies.

• It's hard to say whether mystery candies are a gift or a curse. In truth, they can be both in the same level. There are so many of these candies in this level, it's impossible to avoid them.
• When mystery candies are matched, they turn into either a blocker or a special candies. If any chocolate enters the board because of a mystery candy, make sure it doesn't overtake any jelly squares. They need to remain clear so you can get rid of the jelly.

Level 231 Cheat #3: Strategize with your special candies.

• You'll get a lot of opportunities to use special candies in this level, especially after you start cracking mystery candies. Look for chances to make combinations and remove tons of jelly at once. If you get an opportunity to make a combination like the one pictured, take it--you'll be able to clear out almost all of your jelly, blockers, and mystery eggs quickly.
• Obviously, you'll need to be careful of Odus when using special candies if Moon Struck isn't in effect. Bombs are very useful to use by themselves in the top of the board. You'll get rid of jelly, but in a contained area that will hopefully Odus balanced.
