Break the Top Meringues.
You will have almost no room to work with on Candy Crush Dreamworld level 153 at the start, because the top meringue block reinforcements. Make basic combinations to end their reign of terror from the get go. This is your best and only strategy at the beginning of the level. Once the top meringues are taken care of, allowing reinforcements to get through, there are a few on the bottom that will continue to impede your combo formation. Take these out with special candies .

You'll need as much room as possible to form two color bombs next to each other. Clear out as much of the meringue blockers as you can to give yourself some space to work. Once the first color bomb is on the board, don't move it! Color bombs will mix with any other candy on the board, and then you'll have to make even more of them. Be careful not to set off your color bombs while using other special candies.
Use the Moon Struck Bonus.
Moon Struck is a fantastic bonus on this level, because it will remove one of the candy colors on the board. The level starts with 5 colors on the board, and it will be much easier to form color bomb with only 4! Be sure to keep the Moon Scale balanced so Odus doesn't fall off and lose you the level!
