Destroy the blockers.
Since this is an ingredient challenge, your first priority must be to clear the way for the nuts and cherries to fall. You'll have to use special candies at first, then match as many candies as you can on the bottom. Remember that striped candy are not very effective against licorice swirl , but will destroy meringue easily. Target the fragile meringue first, then the licorice.
Use special candies wisely.
Though normal striped candies are not very useful against licorice swirls, combining them with bombs will make clearing out the bottom much easier. Horizontal striped candies are very useful for removing candy bomb from the top if you're having trouble matching them normally.
Make sure Odus stays safe.
Remember, if Odus falls, the game is over. Try to stay away from creating too many cascades, especially if Odus is already close to the edge. Use Odus to your advantage by triggering Moon Struck. This will remove one color from the board, with the added bonus of removing Odus as well for several turns. You can use all your special candies without fear during this time.
