To defeat honey levels, you must eat enough honey to save the trapped bears. Similar to frosting levels, you do not necessarily have to eat all the honey to save the bears. Some levels will require you to eat all of the honey to save the bears.

Saving all the bears should net you enough points to receive at least one star. Don't focus on getting as many points as possible. Instead, focus on finding the bears.

Honey can have up to 6 layers. Often, 6-layered honey will be above less layered honey containing bears.

Unlike blockers like licorice, multiple honey pieces can be affected by a single special candy. Striped candy and jelly fish combinations can be very helpful for honey levels because they can target bears then knock one layer of blockers off an entire row or column.

Honey levels can vary widely in difficulty. Some levels have very few blockers and less layers of honey. The number of bears to save also varies widely.

One of the most important things to do in honey levels is quickly figure out where the bears are and focus your efforts in those areas. Often, bears are below 1-2 rows of honey. In this case, using combinations will help you save the bears much more quickly.
